Bufumbo Farmers Association represents over 1,000 small holder growers and helps to bring organic business practices to the region. The Farmers and Association are certified organic by the US Department of Agriculture, the European Union, and the coffee is fair trade certified.

Our “Specialty coffee” is grown by local farmers partnered with Kamaala Enterprises. The coffee is grown, roasted, ground, and packaged by hand. The result is small batches of artisan produced coffee.
An extra percentage of each sale is given directly to the farmers to help them plant more resistant arabica plants to increase future coffee production for future generations of farmers.
